The Clubhouse, Fairmount Park
The fantastic Clubhouse offers a full range of leisure and social facilities and sits at the heart of our friendly retirement community within the wonderful grounds of Fairmount Park in Nab Wood, Shipley.
Everyone who lives in one of our care homes or retirement properties can use the facilities at The Clubhouse, Fairmount Park, which is also open to outside members of the local community.
With membership for all age groups starting at £34 per month, or social membership only at £64 per year, The Clubhouse is the perfect place to get fit, stay healthy and socialise with friends and family.
The first-rate facilities include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, gym, restaurant, bar, snooker table, putting green, boardroom facilities and private function suite. We’ve recently made a significant investment in new gym equipment, including new state of the art treadmills, exercise bikes, a multi-gym and other weights equipment. There's also a popular bowling green and putting green.
The Clubhouse has an established an unrivalled reputation with members across all age groups, as well as local businesses and individuals that hire it for functions and events such as weddings, christenings, anniversaries, special birthdays and corporate events.

Margaret Allen said: “Tony and I visit The Clubhouse at least three times a week, we use the fantastic swimming pool which is always clean and warm and also thoroughly enjoy the crown bowling green. We take part in lots of matches, and it’s a welcoming and fun sport to be part of.
“We also go to the monthly quiz which is a great laugh. Another highlight of The Clubhouse is the fantastic food on offer. We go every Wednesday with our grandchildren for the delicious fish and chip supper, and the quality of the food and the service we receive is outstanding.
“The Clubhouse feels like a home from home for us and is a big part of our lives. It’s excellent value for money, and we are always made to feel welcome. It’s a friendly community and the fact we can have a meal any time day or night, swim and take part in sports and events in such a well-maintained environment is perfect for us. Just a short note to say thank you for all you did on the day of Mum’s funeral. It was all extremely well organised (as usual!) and the buffet was excellent and well received by everyone. Please also thank Irene and Gerard.
